There are so many issues facing Michigan and its families. Please reach out to me at any time and tell me what is important to you and your family. You can contact me here. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I believe in the sanctity of human life and will champion policies that protect our most vulnerable.
Voting is the most important right we have; to elect those whom we believe best represent the will of the people. It is imperative that everyone have faith in our electoral process. When people don't trust that their vote counts, they don't vote. We must make sure elections are SECURE, FREE and FAIR!
As an avid outdoorsman, I know that hunting is an important part of Michigan's heritage. I also know that our U.S. Constitution protects the right of Americans to keep and bear arms. I will always protect this constitutional guarantee.
My passion lies in education. I spent nine years, three as Chair, of the Roscommon Public Schools Board of Education. Our children need a champion in Lansing who will hold public education accountable. It is imperative that our children are prepared for their next step upon graduation.
Our men and women in uniform, whether domestically or abroad, protect our way of life. The debt we owe to our law enforcement officers, soldiers and veterans is great and their bravery and defense of our freedom must be appropriately honored.
I spent most of my career in health care and know how complicated our health care system can be. I am currently Chair of the Munson Grayling Hospital Board and my background is in health care leadership and process improvement. I hope to take that knowledge and experience to Lansing to make health care work for all of us.
I know that small business is the backbone of Michigan's economy, accounting for most of the jobs in Michigan. It's important that we keep the economy healthy and remove barriers to growth for these very important job providers.
